Did anyone notice it's a new year?

Dear Wise Reader,

Smell that? Not it’s not burning toast. It is a new year. Fresh and full of hope. Well, I have great hopes that this new year will hold you gently in its hand and softly rain kindness down upon you.

And treats if you want them. Hey, and since we are wishing for things, we could all use a little extra money, too. So kindness, treats and money.

I believe they call that a perfect trifecta. I am now going to look up the word trifecta. I’ll get back to you next year about what that word means.

Thanks so much for being a reader. Every time you pick up a book, you’re fighting against the darkness (even if it’s a sad book). The world needs more readers.

This year I had an enormous accomplishment: I didn’t put out a book. The last time I didn’t put out a book was in 2013. I still wrote the same amount this year, but I will admit it was kind of nice not to have the “hurry up” of releasing a new book.

That said, this year will see Metaloria: Highway to Hades. There will be BIG HAIR! SWORDS! SINGING! I promise. More info to come soon…
